Binding Styles
Morris Publishing offers three binding styles in two popular book sizes, 5 ½" x 8 ½" and 8 ½" x 11". All base prices are for perfect binding, which is our most popular binding style. If you prefer plastic comb or plastic coil binding, additional charges apply.

Red prices are for 5 ½" x 8 ½" books.
Blue prices are for 8 ½" x 11" books.
Black prices are for both book sizes.
Perfect binding (paperbacks) is the book style included in our base prices. The pages and cover are held together by a flexible adhesive which keeps its strength and resiliency for a long period of time. This binding is great for many types of books, including novels, poetry, and short stories. Spine printing is standard with 90 or more pages.
Plastic coil binding is ideal for books that must lie flat. The biggest advantage is that the book can also be folded in half. This binding is similar to wire binding except it's made of more durable plastic. It does not bend or lose its shape. Choose black or white plastic coil to coordinate with your cover. This binding is available with a soft cover for an additional 35¢/45¢ per book.
We offer plastic comb binding (GBC binding) with a soft cover for an additional 25¢/30¢ per book. Plastic comb binding is used for books which must lie flat, such as manuals, how-to books, or workbooks. Choose from 8 plastic comb colors to coordinate with your cover. You may imprint your book title on the plastic comb for an additional 30¢-55¢/40¢-65¢ per book.
