Binding Styles
To meet our customers' needs, Morris Publishing offers three binding styles in two popular book sizes, 5 ½" x 8 ½" and 8 ½" x 11". All binding styles require 40 pages minimum and 500 pages maximum.
Covers are printed on heavy, durable cover stock that allows for exceptional one-, multiple-, or full-color printing. To add extra durability and make colors more brilliant, all covers include FREE UV coating, or they may be plastic laminated for an extra charge.
We can also produce 3-ring binders and hardbacks with plastic comb binding. Contact us for a quote.
Perfect binding (paperback) is the most popular and economical binding method, and it is included in our base prices. This binding is ideal for many types of books, including novels, poetry, and short stories. Spine printing is standard with 90 or more pages.
Plastic coil binding is ideal for books that must fold in half or lie flat when open, such as manuals or workbooks. This durable plastic binding will not bend or lose its shape. Choose from 8 plastic coil colors to coordinate with your cover. This binding is available for an extra charge.
Plastic comb binding is used for books which must lie flat when open, such as manuals, how-to books, or workbooks. Choose from 8 plastic comb colors to coordinate with your cover. Plastic comb binding is an extra charge. To help your book title stand out on a shelf, your plastic comb can be imprinted for an extra charge. Choose from 10 imprint ink colors.
