Interior Pages
All interior pages must be furnished press-ready. Press-ready pages are already set in type, with no additional typesetting or alterations needed. Pages are ready to print and will reproduce like those submitted. The quality of the printed work is determined by the quality of the press-ready material which is furnished.
Red prices are for 5 ½" x 8 ½" books.
Blue prices are for 8 ½" x 11" books.
Black prices are for both book sizes.
Our standard paper is a 60 lb. white book paper. This paper has a smooth finish and is acid-free to ensure your books will have an exceptionally long shelf life. There is no additional charge for this paper, as it is included in our base price. We also offer a 60 lb. cream colored paper for an additional 15¢/25¢ per book.
Black ink is included in our base prices and is the most popular ink choice. Navy, forest, or brown ink is available for an additional charge of $100 on your order. Photos and artwork appearing in your interior pages will be printed in the same ink color as your text unless you choose full-color printing.
3 Accepted Press-Ready Materials:
To get started, download Submitting Press-Ready Interior Pages (PDF 416 KB) for page size and margin specifications. To assist you, we provide pre-built page templates created for Word, Publisher, and Quark.
1. Submit digital files using our specifications and converted into a PDF file. Furnish a hard copy proof. A PDF file submitted online is preferred over all other material.
2.Submit a press-ready hard copy using our specifications.
3.Submit a previously printed book. An existing book may be reprinted as long as the author owns the copyright or a copy of certification or letter of transfer is submitted with the order. Pages must fit into one of the format sizes. Supply two copies of the book and original photos and artwork.

Artwork can include photos, line art, graphs, tables, or any other illustrations. If you cannot place artwork or photos onto your pages, send original material. We will scan and place them (as long as you allow space for them), for which there will be additional charges. If you are sending a press-ready hard copy rather than a digital file, we cannot accept pages with shaded illustrations or photos printed on a laser printer. These will print poorly.
There is no limit to how many photos you can include in your book, but there are photo printing charges. There are no extra charges for black & white line art (without shading) if they are already positioned on the pages. Artwork and photos will be printed in the same ink color as chosen for your pages, unless you choose full-color printing. See Optional Features Pricing.
