Production
All our services and products are produced in-house with the latest high-end equipment by our trained and skilled staff. Once we receive both your approved cover and page proofs, production will begin on your book. You can choose between our 15 day Normal production or 10 day RUSH service.
Normal Production Time
Your books will ship 15 BUSINESS DAYS from the day after we receive your approved proofs. Allow an additional 3–5 business days for shipping time. Allow 3–6 weeks for deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii. We are not in production on weekends, holidays, or between Christmas and New Year's Day.
RUSH Service
For faster service, you may request our 10 day RUSH service. Your books will ship 10 BUSINESS DAYS from the day after we receive your signed and approved proofs. This option incurs a 20% upcharge on the total order ($100 minimum). If we are unable to meet the deadline, the extra 20% will not be charged. RUSH orders receive priority processing. We recommend choosing digital proofs for RUSH service. If you choose printed proofs they will be sent via overnight service. RUSH service does not apply to Promotional Tools. We reserve the right to deny RUSH service for any reason.
Take Note
Plan ahead, it takes time to secure an ISBN, bar code, Library of Congress Control Number, or CIP data. Send these items with your order to avoid production delays.
Overruns
Overruns compensate for estimated spoilage. If more than 10% are lost in spoilage, your order may be short some books. If spoilage does not occur, you could receive up to 10% over the original quantity ordered (maximum of 50 books). Your final balance will be based on the quantity of books shipped.
Take Note
All orders are subject to a 10% overrun/underrun and are shipped and billed accordingly. This procedure has been a printing trade custom in the USA and Canada for more than 80 years and has been adopted by the Printing Industries of America.
