The following overview will give you an idea of the steps involved in self-publishing. Complete information is available by ordering our FREE Publishing Kit.

We're here to help you through every step in the self-publishing process. If you have questions, our publishing consultants are just a phone call away.

Step One - Binding Styles

Morris Publishing offers three binding styles. Perfect binding (paperback) is the most popular style we offer. Other available binding styles include plastic comb and plastic coil.

Step Two - Interior Pages

The next step in self-publishing your book is to prepare your pages and decide on paper and ink choices. It will be necessary to have your pages proofread, edited, typeset, and submitted press-ready.

Step Three - Cover Design

Step 3 is to prepare your cover. Morris Publishing offers many options to assist with your cover design, or you may send us a press-ready digital file.

Step Four - Technical Aspects

Your book may require a few technical details, such as an ISBN, bar code, or Library of Congress Control Number. Morris Publishing provides services to help you obtain many of these items.

Step Five - Submit Your Order

Our FREE Publishing Kit includes detailed information on the steps involved to self-publish your book. After you have selected the options for your book, send your material and completed order form to Morris Publishing.

Step Six - Review Proofs

Upon receipt of your material, we'll prepare your book and send you a FREE proof, allowing you to review your book before it's printed. After you have approved the proof, your books will be printed, bound, and shipped to you.
