Step 2: Prepare Your Pages
All pages must be furnished press-ready. Press-ready pages are already formatted and typeset, with no additional typesetting or alterations needed. Pages are ready to print and will print the way they appear on your computer. Printing quality is determined by the quality of the press-ready material. A FREE proof will be sent for your approval
White or Cream Paper
Choose black ink or full-color printing
For paperback books, we use a premium 60-lb. white book paper. Cream paper is available for an extra charge. Both papers have a smooth finish and are acid-free to ensure your books will have an exceptionally long shelf-life.
Your pages (including photos and artwork) will be printed in black ink unless you choose full-color printing for an extra charge. If photos or artwork need to be scanned or digital images need to be placed onto your pages, charges will apply. Photo printing charges also apply.
1. A digital file in PDF format using our specifications. Send via our File Uploader. This the preferred method. If you need assistance, contact us.
2. A press-ready hard copy using our specifications.
3. A previously printed book that can fit into our format. The author must own the copyright, or a copy of certification or letter of transfer must be submitted with the order. Supply a copy of the book and original photos and artwork. Contact us for details.
Full-Color Hardcover Books
For hardcover books, we use a premium 80-lb. gloss paper which enhances your color illustrations or photography. Prices for full-color hardcover books include full-color printing of all pages. Photo printing charges do not apply.
